Calculus BC

WHEN: Upcoming - Fall 2022

This class meets three times a week for one hour each time. Tentative schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 3:15 - 4:15 pm Pacific Standard Time. The class will not meet during holidays and special events days. All sessions are recorded and available for playback and download immediately after class.

  • Prerequisites: completion/solid knowledge of pre-calculus

IMPORTANT

  • This class is ideal for students looking to complete their high-school Calculus series and prepare and participate in the AP Calculus AB/BC exams from the College Board. 
  • The class also offers a great preparation for students interested in the University of Oxford entrance exams (MAT), or the Cambridge University admission test.
  • The problems discussed in class are from the textbook or from similar books on the subject. We will often discuss both multiple choice and free-response questions from past AP Calculus AB and BC exams. Homework will be primarily assigned from the textbook or from previous AP exams.
  • Space is limited, but a minimum number of participants is required to run the class. 

TUITION: $40 per session

All sessions are $40 each; we will be meeting three times a week on most weeks, with the exceptions of holidays, special event days, etc. You will be billed monthly, depending on the number of classes on each particular month. Payment can be done by Zelle, Paypal, or check. A $200 deposit must be paid by August 1, 2022. The deposit will be applied to the September tuition for all students who end up participating in the class. The deposit is non-refundable for all students that withdraw before the start of the class or within the first two weeks from the start of the class.


DEADLINE TO SIGN-UP: Monday, August 1, 2022

To guarantee that the class is running, please sign-up and pay the deposit by August 1, 2022.
