BEGINNING AMC 10

• Mondays and Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST)
• All sessions will be online, delivered through the Electa-Live platform.
• All sessions are recorded and available for playback and download.
• Includes two AMC 10 practice tests

• Algebra and arithmetic
• Basic number theory (modular arithmetic preferred, but not required)
• Geometry (plane and coordinate geometry, but no trigonometry required)
• Combinatorics and probability (including permutations, combinations)

• Instructor's notes (no textbooks required) 
• Prerequisites: familiarity with the above listed topics and interest in improving your problem-solving skills and expanding your mathematical horizon

• This class is ideal for students looking to participate in the upcoming AMC 10 or other high school math competitions. Students in grades 6-10 interested in some fun and exciting math are welcome and encouraged to sign-up. 
• The problems discussed in class are from previous AMC 10 exams, or from other high school competitions from around the world that are similar in content and style with the AMC 10. 
• Homework will be given weekly, and may consist of past AMC 10 exams.
