AIME

WHEN: TBA

The class meets twice a week for 1.5 hours each time. 

TOPICS (not all may be covered)

  • Algebra 2+
  • Geometry and trigonometry
  • Number Theory
  • Combinatorics

Textbooks and Prerequisites

  • Instructor's notes (no textbooks required) 
  • Prerequisites: familiarity with the above listed topics and interest in improving your problem-solving skills and expanding your mathematical horizon

IMPORTANT

  • This class is ideal for students looking to participate in upcoming AIMEs or other high school math competitions, such as ARML, HMMT, PUMAC, SMT, BMT, or BAMO. Yet, anyone in grades 8+ interested in some fun and exciting math and looking to stay way above grade level is welcome and encouraged to sign-up.
  • The problems discussed in class are from previous AIME exams, or from other high school competitions from around the world that are similar in content and style with AIME.
  • Homework will be given weekly, and may take a few good hours to complete. 
  • Space is limited, but a minimum number of participants is required to run the class. In the event the class is canceled due to low enrollment, your payment will be refunded in full within 24 hours.
